1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all painting services, training courses and related services offered by Studio PF (Pierre-François Frasse, sole trader, SIRET 832 040 380 00020).

• 🆓 VAT not applicable under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
• 📜 VAT exemption under Article 283-2 of the French General Tax Code.

2. Ordering Process

Every order is confirmed by written agreement (email or message) and payment of a deposit (generally 50%). The order becomes firm and final upon receipt of the deposit.

• 📅 Quotes are valid for 7 business days.
• ✍️ The quote serves as the contract and includes labour, research and supplies (excluding miniatures).
• ⏳ The estimated lead time depends on the project size, painting level and start date.
• 📸 A first preview is sent when the project reaches 80 % completion.
• 📸 Final photos are sent at 100 %, before and after any touch-ups.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are stated in euros (€) and are established through an individual quote or the online estimator. Payment may be made by PayPal, bank transfer or cash for in-person collection. Unless otherwise agreed, the outstanding balance must be paid before shipping.

• Payment can be made in four interest-free instalments through PayPal.
• 🏦 Payment methods: bank transfer, card or PayPal (⚠️ a 4% fee applies to PayPal payments).
• Payment in several instalments for card payments and bank transfers:
  • 💳 A minimum payment of 25% is required to reserve a time slot.
  • ✅ The remaining balance must be paid before work begins, due to too many previous commissions remaining unpaid at completion.
• 🎁 A 4% discount applies to payments made outside PayPal.

4. Delivery and Shipping

Orders are shipped through Colissimo with tracking and insurance. Shipping costs are payable by the client. Studio PF accepts no liability for loss or damage after the parcel has been handed over to the carrier.

• 🚚 Colissimo shipping with signature is used for parcels valued from €150, with insurance available up to €5,000.
• 📌 Mondial Relay is available, but its insurance coverage is very limited in the event of damage, loss or theft (maximum €500).
• 🎁 Free shipping for orders of €3,000 or more.
• By default, I recommend Colissimo with signature and optional insurance, although shipping without insurance and/or through Mondial Relay remains possible.

• 📦 Colissimo with signature for shipments valued between €150 and €5,000, including assembly, painting services and the value of the miniatures.
• 📌 Mondial Relay is available, but its insurance coverage is very limited in the event of damage, loss or theft (maximum €500).

5. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order products such as painted miniatures.

• 🚫 Deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels.
• ✅ Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of the quote.
• 🔁 Deposits cannot be transferred to another project or time slot.
• ❌ No postponement or exchange of time slots is permitted. Any cancellation results in the loss of the deposit.
• ⏳ A 30% surcharge applies to all urgent orders with a lead time of less than one month.
• ⏳ If the miniatures have not been sent within one month of the project start date, the project will be cancelled automatically.
  In that event, the deposit already paid will be retained.

6. Intellectual Property and Image Rights

Studio PF reserves the right to photograph and publish completed work on its website, social media channels and portfolio.

7. Liability and Disputes

Studio PF undertakes to perform all services with the utmost care. In the event of a dispute, French law applies and the competent courts are those of Saint-Étienne.

8. Return Policy

• 🏗️ Approval Before Shipping
• The final photographs of the commission serve as the official reference for approval.
• Please examine them carefully and request any touch-ups or changes at this stage.

• 🖌️ Touch-Up Process
• New photographs will be provided after each touch-up and will serve as final approval.
• Once the commission has been approved, including any required touch-ups, it will be shipped.
• ➡️ No changes can be made after approval.

• 🎯 Returns and Touch-Ups After Delivery
• You have a maximum of 48 to 72 hours after delivery to report a defect that was not visible in the photographs.
• Additional work may nevertheless be offered subject to availability and a separate quote.
• Any request made more than 15 days after delivery will require a separate quote.

• 🖌️ Improvements and Changes Unrelated to Defects
• The final photographs of the commission serve as the official reference for approval.
• Any request for a change or improvement unrelated to a defect after approval will be subject to an additional quote.

9. Lead Times

• 🔧 Small projects – Premium level (warband, Combat Patrol, Spearhead) : 2 business months
• 🔧 Small projects – Signature level (warband, Combat Patrol, Spearhead) : 4 business months
• ⚙️ Medium to complex projects – Premium and Signature levels (700–1,000 points) : 4 to 6 business months
• 🏗️ Very large projects – Premium and Signature levels (1,500–2,000 points) : 6 business months to 1 business year
• 📦 Lead times are calculated from the date on which all materials are received and the deposit is paid.
• 📅 Closure periods and public holidays are not included in the stated lead times.

10. Training

• Miniatures are not provided. For full-day courses, a contribution toward painting supplies may be requested.
• 📍 Individual lessons are available on-site only.
• 📍 Event services: travel time and time spent on-site, including meal breaks, are included in the total billable service hours.
• 📍 Workshops are provided by quotation. The venue may vary, and the applicable conditions will be specified when each new workshop is announced.
• 📞 Initial contact by telephone.
• 🔄 Purchased hours may be rescheduled but are non-refundable.
