My name is Pierre-François also known as PF.
I am a professional miniature painter.
In 2025, I had the pleasure of seeing Le Progrès publish an article about my journey, retracing the creation of Studio PF and the development of my work as a professional miniature painter.

Passionate about fantasy, science fiction and board games since childhood, I discovered
Warhammer 40,000
in high school.
My first attempts on Eldar miniatures were… disastrous! Thick coats, garish colours and no technique: I quickly gave up, convinced that painting simply was not for me.
The real turning point came later at Replay Games in Roanne, thanks to an introduction to Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Valentin’s encouragement. I left with an army of Seraphon , and this time, I never stopped.
Since then, I have also had the pleasure of painting miniatures from many different universes, including Warhammer The Old World or The Lord of the Rings™ Strategy Battle Game , as well as many other miniature, board and collector games.
🏆 What if your universe became a collector’s piece?
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to paint many armies. It all began with my
Seraphon
,
followed by the
Sons of Behemat
,
the
Daughters of Khaine
,
then my favourite army, the
Idoneth Deepkin
,
with which I took part in many tournaments.
Then I moved on to Warhammer 40,000 with the
Adeptus Custodes,
the
Chaos Knights
, the
Death Guard
.
During the Covid period, I had a great deal of free time. I fully 3D-printed and then painted an entire 2,000-point Nurgle army in just one week. As I progressed day after day, almost without realising it, I saw how far I had come and how much could be achieved with motivation and effective organisation. It was during this period that the idea of creating a genuine professional painting studio began to take shape.
It was around that time that my friend Jérémy said something I have never forgotten: “You’ll end up making a career out of this, mate.” At the time, it seemed almost unrealistic. Yet the idea gradually took hold, and the project of creating a genuine painting studio slowly came to life.
A few months later, after a workplace accident followed by redundancy, and with the support of my wife Gaëlle , I decided to turn that idea into reality. That is how Studio PF , was born, with one simple ambition: to offer a professional painting service capable of bringing every miniature to life, whether it is intended for gaming, collecting or competition.

⚔️ What if your army became truly unique? When I created Studio PF , I did not only want to paint miniatures. I also wanted to pass on everything I wish I had learned when I started. My own difficulties taught me the importance of a clear method: avoiding common mistakes, understanding the right techniques, mastering the airbrush and progressing with confidence. Today, I share that experience through my lessons and content.
To take my skills even further, I chose to train with Mohand Art , a professional painter and multiple award winner at the Golden Demon . This training enabled me to refine my techniques, structure my working method and adopt an even more professional approach to miniature painting. Today, I am committed to passing on that experience through my lessons, demonstrations and educational content.
Studio PF is also a community of enthusiasts whom I regularly meet during live streams on Twitch , where I paint live, share my projects, answer questions and interact with viewers. You can also find demonstrations, tutorials, guides and videos on my YouTube , as well as exclusive content and more in-depth support on Patreon .
Alongside my work as a professional miniature painter, I am president of the miniature gaming association Les Grognards in Riorges . We bring enthusiasts together for games, introductory sessions, demonstrations and events, helping people discover the hobby and grow the local community in a friendly atmosphere.
I also take part in many conventions and painting competitions, including OctoGônes . My next major goal is to enter a piece in the prestigious Golden Demon , one of the world’s most renowned miniature painting competitions.
I am also involved in charity events such as Stream Against Muco , which brings the streaming community together every year to raise funds in the fight against cystic fibrosis.
Today, I devote most of my time to high-end painting projects, competition pieces, teaching and sharing my experience with the community, both online and at trade shows, conventions and events.
“If my journey can help even one person find the courage to pick up their brushes, then it will all have been worthwhile.” ✨
